F Series Diesel Heater Origin-SE, 12V Separated App Control

This is a great heater and will eventually find itself inside my camper van. For now the heater is set up in my shed and keeps me cosy warm when I'm working out there. I will raise the issue of the fuel tank and the fuel outlet being a right pain to fit and set up but, once you get past this it works great. As others have mentioned please replace the cheap fuel line with a better quality one as the supplied green one will fail very quickly. The heater gives out a good amount of heat for the size and once it's on tick over it doesn't really use much fuel at all. Please be aware, these heaters DO NOT turn on and off to regulate the heat, all it will do is slow the fuel pump down to try and reduce the heat. I found after 10 minutes or so my shed was getting hot even on tick over so I had to turn the unit off and let it do a shut down process. This process is very important if you want the heater to last, it has to go through the shut down cycle to clear all fuel from the heater chamber or it will get choked up and not run properly. The unit comes supplied with the pipe work, exhaust, clamps and all the control options you would need and a large instruction setup booklet, please read this and make sure you double check all hose/pipe connections as you are dealing with flammable liquid and a very hot heat chamber. One other warning for this unit is to make sure you use the metal guard to keep the exhaust pipework clear of all combustible things like the side of a wooden shed or the floor of a camper van.

I have seen a diesel heater before which pumped out a huge amount of heat. With the winter approaching this seemed like a good option for my workshop.The listing says it is suitable for "RVs, carpentry houses, camping, vans and so on", but I didn't find it clear that this is a kit, and needs a significant amount of installation. It won't be a problem for me, but definitely something to watch out for. You also need a strong 12v power supply - preferably a vehicle battery as the glow plug needs probably more than most 12v PSUs will supply. This may mean needing to purchase a battery and charger, or sourcing some other suitable supply.Other than that, the box contains pretty much everything required, just all in component form. The manual is a a complete let down though - no real information on how to assemble the heater components except one diagram. This is really bad for something that will pump carbon monoxide out of the exhaust that could kill you.

If you lack space for a pellet stove, these heaters are a great alternative! Fairly quiet, and if you get the type here, where it comes in parts and you assemble it, it can be fitted to your space quite nicely. If youre not so handy or simply dont want to fuss with assembly, you can find this unit as a complete already assembled machine, where you just add the power supply and fuel and go! Works great, for the money you cannot go wrong. Buy it!

I used this diesel heater for my semi-truck, easy to install and kept the cabin hot all night long and its way economy and energy saving, it use about 3/4 Gallon for the night way saving diesel and environment than keeping the truck running all night long.

Excellent performance from this heater, for the price you can't go wrong. Very easy to install, not too noisy. The heat you get from it is amazing, we have an 8.5mtr motorhome which it copes with perfectly. I definitely recommend this diesel heater. One thing I would advise though is to buy the harder (white) fuel line separately and use that as the green one it comes with is very easy to damage.
